Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)

When utility power fails, your home standby generator starts automatically and the ATS connects it to your home’s electrical system, enabling it to power your home.

When utility power is restored, the ATS will reconnect your home to utility power after which the generator will automatically cool down and shut down until it’s needed again.

Cummins offers multiple ATS options for our full range of home generators. Your local Cummins dealer will help you identify the correct solution for your specific needs.
